Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has just published the Index of ICT application among enterprises (ProBiz ICT Index 2009) based on the survey among businesses in 63 provinces nationwide. Meanwhile, Kaspersky ranks second with 13.36 percent, and Norton Antivirus ranks third with 8.95 percent.
This is the first time VCCI has surveyed and published ProBiz ICT Index among businesses. VCCI says that ProBiz ICT Index is considered the language of business community to promote the initiatives of effective ICT application among businesses.
Speaking at the ceremony announcing ProBiz ICT Index 2009, Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, VCCI's Associate President and Secretary, said that the survey result was the basis to assess the ICT application condition, to determine the causes and limitations of ICT application among businesses nationwide. Thus, authorities and business technical assistance centers are able to offer efficient solutions for IC application.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, Director of Bkis R&D, said: "The survey result of VCCI reflects the actual use of antivirus software in Vietnam. This also proves that made-in-Vietnam software can well meet the demand of IT application among Vietnamese businesses."
